Founded by Remo Ben Shushan in 1981, Marina is Israel’s leading mushroom grower and distributor, with world-class facilities in the West Galilee.

 

The company is also a major grower and distributor of fruits and vegetables, controlling the entire value chain from field to shelf. Marina operates a unique hyper-fresh distribution system with daily shelf cycles, supported by three chilled warehouses and a fleet of 55 trucks.

 

In 2023 Marina acquired Ale Ale, Israel’s leading fresh produce supplier to premium hotels, restaurants, and accommodation segments and in 2024 Marina acquired Taam Hateva  which offers ready-to-eat vegetables and legumes to the retail-market.

 

Green Lantern invested in Marina in 2021 and holds a 33% stake in the company.
