Founded in 1972, Tapugan is Israel’s largest manufacturer of frozen French fries and potato products, and the clear leader in its category.

Operating a state of the art facility near Sderot adjacent to some of Israel’s largest potato growers — Tapugan controls the value chain from field to finished product.

It serves both the professional foodservice
market and the retail market, with a wide assortment spanning classic and premium ‘Crispy’ fries, specialty cuts, sweet potato and other products.

Green Lantern invested in Tapugan in 2025 and holds a 100% stake in the company.
